Unmanned Surface Vessel

HDPE Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV): Autonomous Maritime Systems
Unmanned surface vessels represent the next generation of maritime operations — enabling persistent surveillance, hydrographic survey, anti-submarine warfare support, and hazardous area operations without risking human crew. PlastBoat’s HDPE unmanned surface vessel platforms combine the inherent advantages of HDPE construction with purpose-designed autonomous systems integration, delivering USVs that are lighter, more resilient, and lower-maintenance than conventional metal-hulled unmanned platforms.
Our USVs serve naval intelligence and surveillance missions, environmental monitoring programs, hydrographic survey operations, and port security applications. As a USV manufacturer based in Turkey, PlastBoat delivers these advanced platforms to government, defense, and commercial clients worldwide, from the Mediterranean to sub-Saharan Africa.
Why Choose PlastBoat's USV?
HDPE hull
Non-metallic construction reduces radar cross-section and eliminates corrosion, both critical advantages for long-endurance unmanned operations.
Low radar signature
HDPE’s non-metallic properties give PlastBoat USVs a lower radar cross-section than metal-hulled unmanned systems — an advantage for surveillance and covert operations.
Maintenance-free hull
No painting, no corrosion management, no structural inspections required at annual intervals. HDPE USV hulls remain deployable with minimal logistical support.
Payload flexibility
PlastBoat provides full systems integration, operator training, and aftersales technical support for USV deployments worldwide.
Worldwide delivery and integration support
Fire monitors, foam systems, thermal cameras, and medical equipment are integrated at the design stage for optimal ergonomics.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can your USVs operate fully autonomously?
Yes. The USV-62 supports fully autonomous waypoint navigation with obstacle detection and avoidance. The USV-61 is primarily remote-controlled but can follow pre-programmed routes. Both include remote operator override capability.
What payloads can be integrated?
We integrate EO/IR cameras, radar systems, AIS transponders, acoustic sensors, hydrographic sonar (single-beam and multibeam), ADCP, CTD oceanographic sensors, and electronic warfare systems for defense clients.
Can your USVs be launched from a mothership?
Yes. Our USVs can be configured for davit or crane launch from patrol vessels, offshore support ships, or naval vessels, enabling extended operational range.
What is the operational endurance?
The USV-61 achieves 12-24 hours endurance. The diesel-powered USV-62 achieves 48+ hours, sufficient for extended patrol or survey missions without operator intervention.
