HDPE Fire and Rescue Boat: Rapid Response Vessels for Critical Operations
When fire breaks out on a vessel, at a port, or along a waterfront, response time is everything. PlastBoat’s HDPE fire and rescue boats are designed to get firefighting equipment and rescue personnel to the scene faster and more reliably than conventional vessels. Built from high-density polyethylene, our fire and rescue boats combine the speed needed for rapid deployment with the structural resilience to operate in the most demanding maritime emergency environments.
Our vessels serve port authorities, coast guards, naval fire brigades, industrial terminals, and offshore platform operators across Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and beyond. As a dedicated fire rescue boat manufacturer, PlastBoat delivers custom-configured vessels with firefighting monitors, rescue equipment, and life-saving systems integrated from the design stage.
Why Choose PlastBoat's Fire and Rescue Boat?
HDPE hull
Non-sparking, non-magnetic, and resistant to heat radiation, making it safer in fire proximity compared to metal hulls.
Speed
Waterjet propulsion options deliver 30+ knot response speeds, critical for fire and rescue operations where every minute counts.
No corrosion
HDPE hulls do not rust or corrode, ensuring the vessel remains operationally ready even when stationed in high-humidity marine environments.
Low maintenance
No painting schedule, no anti-fouling treatments, and no weld repairs mean your fire boat is always available when needed.
Custom equipment integration
Fire monitors, foam systems, thermal cameras, and medical equipment are integrated at the design stage for optimal ergonomics.
Frequently Asked Questions
What firefighting monitor capacity do your boats support?
Our standard FR-61 fire and rescue boat is equipped with a 1,200 litre per minute monitor. The FR-62 supports monitors up to 4,000 l/min. Custom capacities are available on request.
Can your boats be used for both firefighting and rescue operations?
Yes. All PlastBoat fire and rescue boats are multi-mission vessels. They carry firefighting monitors alongside rescue equipment including life rings, rescue nets, casualty stretchers, and first aid kits.
Do you supply fire boats to port authorities in Africa?
Yes. We have supplied marine firefighting vessels to port and industrial clients in Nigeria, Angola, Kenya, Tanzania, and Libya. Our boats are fully compliant with international maritime safety standards.
How resistant is the HDPE hull to heat?
HDPE has a working temperature range suitable for firefighting proximity operations. Its non-conducting and non-magnetic properties also reduce electrical and ignition risks during firefighting. For extreme heat proximity, additional thermal shielding can be applied.
